Hey! I believe this is a very nice work, also liked that it started from webstart in a few seconds. However, I believe there is a lot to do to make it really an alternative to MS Project. Just a few notes:

- When i press the little arrows in the middle vertical bar, I often have to hide and show the window to see what I have done. The task list is still missing then, I had to add a new task to se my existing ones.

- I could not figure out how to assign resources to tasks (once i managed to assin, but I don't know how I did it.

- I cannot reliably set parent/child tasks, parent tasks should be a sum of there child, I believe.

Serious piece of work, though! Grats! Á

The corection will take less time if I have a file with an 
error, also I can improve the user interface to detect those
errors before they happen.

Le escribo estas lineas para comentar LGantt, esperando que le entusiasme lo suficiente para continuar su desarrollo. He probado otros programas con muchas más funciones pero sin la posibilidad de entrar una duracion inferior a un día, LGantt lo permite.

Es cierto que del punto de vista documentación no es muy generoso, pero eso lo comprendo habiendo desarrollado yo mismo aplicaciones.

Cuando se prepara un nuevo Gantt sería interesante de poder copiar y pegar una o varias actividades, esto facilitaría la creación.

Que la configuración personal (colores y otros) sea permanente sin tener que cargarla separadamente. Que sea parte del archivo de proyecto o que el archivo (config) se cargue automaticamente.

La posición del gráfico tendría que ajustarse automaticamente a medida que las columnas aumentan de dimensión.

La posibilidad de traducirlo en diferntes idiomas por medio de la configuración, lo cual permitiría a cada uno de trabajar en su idioma.

Estoy seguro que es posible de hacer algo en équipo, una persona sola no puede hacer todo el trabajo. Continúe este exelente trabajo.

Yo puedo ayudarlo en la traducción francesa.

Very nice little LGantt thing. Now, like Markus, I've got difficulies saving the 'view options'.

I'm working with weeks, months and years. In this case date formatting is weard. However, it is optimized for days.

I do know it is tricky to fit any specific case...

• Anyhow, I found a small bug: restraint (French: constraint) diferent then End->Begin (I use few of Begin->Begin) are not conformed after the project is saved, program (normally) closed, re-started and project re-opened. All of the restraints in the project are presented as of End->Begin type.

• It would be nice to have a little enhancement thet would allow to set up different work-week pattern e.g. being able to say work days Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with individual defining of working time for each of my working days.
  • CSA: Hi, actually you can change that...ejem... if you edit the project.xml file inside the lgantt compressed file. I'm moving now so I will take your sugestions very seriously... but in a couple of weeks.

• kbg: it would be nice with hotkeys for moving a task one day back or forth this will be much more flexible than having to use the mouse so much.. and it will be much faster for the user.
